Deluge

Not being cliche or glib; not avoiding a "real" post.

But seriously? What is the deal with the rain?

It's Atlanta. Part of the reason I agreed to move (be dragged here kicking and screaming) was the weather. The promise of sunshine and magnolias.

So far, it the 3 and a half years we've been here, I have experienced a devastating drought of epic proportions. That devastating drought was followed by a 100 year flood.

And today? Rain. Again.

My name is Curly McGee and my hair can't take this weather. Sigh...

It was 74 and sunny in Chicago this weekend. Maybe ClemsonGirl should move North again. Just sayin...

I have lived in GA a year and went through drought and flood. We did have a nice weekend but today I am watching leaves fall with every drop of rain....dread the work to clean them up. I am about ready to move on. Want to sell a house?

Harsh. I always get SO miserable when I don't see the sun shine for 3 days in a row.

Sorry but as much as I hate days like today....I can't move yet. Hubby has a job that keeps us here. But someday I may be calling.....

We just moved to South Mississippi at the end of summer and I can't win either way. I straighten my hair as well and have a similar "hair cycle" schedule. (Which, after reading your blog, I was glad to know I wasn't the only one!) If it's not raining, it's the dang humidity! Not sure why you don't wear your hair curly but I've figured out the reason that I don't...I'm a control freak. If I dry it straight, I can control what it looks like. If I wear it curly...it's unpredictable...a risk I don't like to take unless I have to!!

Ah global warming... I would curse it as well, 'cept that while it brings hurricanes and floods else where, it's blessing Vermont with unseasonably warm weather.

I left you something over at my blog today! :)

I've been thinking the same thing. I feel like I spend all my time running in and out of my car getting SOAKED.

I guess we should just go buy some cute rain boots and enjoy it.
